Rockland Green Map

The Green Map System has recently released a new version of the icons (the symbols we will put on the map)! They are all great and reflect a tremendous job by mapmakers all over the world and by the GMS staff. What is really exciting is also that the structure has changed to be more clear and comprehensive. We are going to update the website accordingly.

In the next couple of days we will present our project and the very rough draft to county and town officials, and we hope to get some input and get going on the next level: design and fundraising for printing.

If you know of any Printing facilities in Rockland County that can provide soy-based inks and tree-free paper, or similarly green materials - let us know! Also, we are still looking for volunteers that want to be part of our team.
