Knickerbocker Ice Festival at Rockland Lake

On January 24-25 the Knickerbocker Ice Festival at Rockland Lake will mark the beginning of the celebration of Henry Hudson´s journey up the Hudson River 400 years ago.
We are about to embark upon the 400th Anniversary of Henry Hudson’s famous sail upon the ‘Half Moon’ in 1609.

We are proud to report that the statewide kickoff of the Quadricentennial will be right here in Rockland - the upcoming Knickerbocker Ice Festival at Rockland Lake, Sat.-Sun., January 24-25.

The best way to stay informed about the many fun events in Rockland is to visit www.rockland.org and sign up for our email updates. There is so much to do right in your own backyard — you’ll be able to invite friends and family to visit because the more you know the more you can share!

All the best,
Heather Duke, Director, Rockland County Tourism
