Pancakes galore
On Sunday Rockland Farm Alliance (RFA) hosted its second of two fundraising pancake breakfasts to support their work to promote, support, and develop local agriculture and local food production.
A few weeks ago the first breakfast drew around 90 participants - this Sunday saw 150 hungry supporters in the Threefold Cafe.
The scrambled local eggs, sweet potato hash, sausages and pancakes with local maple syrup on top produced several ahs and ohs at my table, where a family of Rockland neighbors and scientists from Lamont and Bhutan had a great time together.
